Flight Instructors

Chad Bentley is a dedicated Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) with a strong passion for developing confident, capable pilots at every stage of their aviation journey.

Originally from Michigan and now based in Florida, Chad began his aviation career by earning his Private Pilot Certificate in 2023 and rapidly advancing through his Instrument, Commercial, and Flight Instructor certifications. He is currently continuing his professional development with both Multi-Engine and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) ratings.

With over 700 hours of total flight time, including more than 400 hours of dual instruction and 100+ hours of instrument flight, Chad brings both experience and real-world perspective into every lesson.

Chad specializes in instrument training, helping pilots master IFR procedures, precision approaches, advanced navigation, and—most importantly—sound aeronautical decision-making in challenging and low-visibility environments. His teaching style is rooted in safety, clarity, and structure, with a focus on adapting each lesson to the individual student’s learning style, pace, and goals.

Outside of aviation, Chad has a passion for automotive performance, firearms, and technology, bringing a detail-oriented and systems-driven mindset into his instruction.

Chad is proud to be part of the Countrywide Flyers community, where he is committed to elevating pilot proficiency, sharing knowledge, and supporting members in achieving their aviation goals.
